A Nebraska woman has avoided jail time after sleeping with and marrying her father, according to a NY Post report.
The incestuous relationship began after Samantha Kershner, 21, met her biological dad Travis Fieldgrove, 40, when she was 17. The pair then began sleeping together in September, according to court documents obtained by the Omaha World-Herald.
They then married on October 1, according to the report.
The documents stated that Fieldgrove denied being Kershner’s father, despite an affidavit showed the probability he was her father was 99.000 percent.
Kershner told officers that “her motivation to have sex with her father stemmed from a jealous competition with her half sister regarding who could have sex with their father,” according to the affidavit mentioned in the Omaha World-Herald report.
Kershner escaped jail time and was sentenced in Hall County court to nine months of probation, the NY Post says, while her father was jailed for two years.
The pair also face further incest charges in Adams Country, where they were married, the NY Post reports.
