Brown Brothers announced the massive recall today, urging Coles, BWS, Dan Murphys and IGA customers nationally not to consume their Prosecco Rosé.
The recall is due to bottle breakages.
Says Food Standards Australia: "Brown Brothers is conducting a recall of Limited Edition Prosecco Rosé, 750ml. The product has been available for sale in clubs and pubs (Qld and WA), and Coles, BWS, Dan Murphy’s, IGA, and independent liquor retailers nationally."
"The recall is due to bottle breakages. This product may cause injury due to glass breakage."
Bottles affected: Date on packaging 04/10/19 and 22/08/19
Consumers should not open or consume this product. Customers should safely dispose of the product and send proof of purchase directly to Brown Family Wine Group for a replacement or full refund. Alternatively, please return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
