It’s been claimed that a Woolworths staff member recently sold a rare Furry Simba Ooshie on eBay for $8,500.
The claims were first raised on a closed Facebook group, after a person - who states that they’re a Woolworths employee on their profile - allegedly shared an eBay ad selling a ‘Furry Simba “””””RAREST”””” ooshie’ for $8,500.
The same person later commented that the item was ‘CONFIRMED SOLD!!!!!!’, adding ‘Thanks guys!!!’ to the post.
The person’s comments prompted another Facebook user to respond that ‘Woolworths actually investigate employees that onsell from promotions.’
For legal reasons, we've removed names from the post.

The entire post was later discussed by another group of Ooshie fans who agreed it seemed ‘dodgy’.
Said one: ‘What's even more dodgy is the chick selling one that works at Woolworths!’
Added another: ‘Yeah that crap...... Shouldn't be allowed at all.
‘It's wrong, there's no reason they should be able to do so then profit from it.’
