However, the beautiful cake was made with just two small white cakes from Woolies, and Blansch is a home cook and amateur cake decorator who has simply been honing her skills using Youtube tutorials and creating cakes for her children’s birthdays.
“I made this wedding cake for my mum's wedding,” she shared on the Woolies/Coles Mudcake Hacks Facebook page.
“The bottom tiers are dummy cakes except for the top tier. I used 2 of those small white chocolate cakes from woolies. The top tier was just enough for my mum, her husband and the maid of honor and best man to have a piece each.
“I've been making woolies cake hacks for the past 2 years and I find this group has been very inspiring!!! Using the woolies cakes have really allowed me to concentrate on the fun and creative side of cake making.”
Her post has so far received 140 comments and 1500 reactions on Facebook.
