Well the fine people at Baileys have made it A LOT easier to get make adults-only desserts with the release of their brand new product.
Baileys flavoured chocolate chips have hit the market in the US, and our spies tell us it’s only a matter of time before they arrive in Australia.
According to the company, the ‘original Irish Cream flavor profile pairs magically with rich, semi-sweet chocolate to create this decadent treat. [You can] eat them by the handful on-the-go or mix into your favorite baked good recipe, these chips deliver on the flavor and smell of Bailey's.’
It doesn’t get much better than that! If you can’t wait for the Baileys chocolate chips to hit the market in Australia, you can always make our famous Baileys Brownies or Baileys Truffles - both big favourites in the New Idea Test Kitchen.
And in the meantime, we’ll be working on lots of recipes involving Baileys chocolate chips - and we’re thinking this new ingredient just might be a little gift from heaven for bakers everywhere.
