If you had asked us before today if there was a cheesecake we could imagine not wanting to eat, we would have told you that was impossible. All cheesecake is beautiful and deserves to be savoured.
But then, we discovered Guy Fieri’s “Cheesecake Challenge” and we honestly had an identity crisis.
Available on the menu at Guy’s Kitchen & Bar in Las Vegas (where else?), Foxwoods is a dessert involving half an entire marble cheesecake teetering on its edge, with potato chips and pretzels wedged into it. Oh, and the entire thing is covered in chocolate fudge sauce.
Normally we wouldn’t even consider sharing my dessert but we think this is something that could be tackled as a team-building exercise.
According to science, though, the salty and sweet combination of chocolate, cheese, pretzels and sugar would just get tastier and tastier. And if anyone knows anything about hedonic escalation it would be Guy Fieri.
If the pictures of the “Cheesecake Challenge” weren’t enough to give you the food sweats, here are just a few other overwhelming menu options he has going.
