The Facebook group’s other followers were quick to jump onboard with Donna’s budget shopping hack, with many revealing they too buy the offset packs from Woolies.
‘Well done. You could make a delicious stew out of them. The cheaper cuts of meat have the best flavour,’ said one. Added another: ‘I always buy offcuts way cheaper and taste great.’
Said a third: ‘These are delish!! Flour salt and pepper and in an oven bag, on low at 130 for about 3 hours!!!! Amazing!!’
Added another: ‘I buy these all the time. I do mine in the slow cooker.’ Said one more: ‘I've had that before. Fantastic bargain.’
